Step-by-Step: How to Check Property Ownership in Hyderabad Online (2025)

I will explain to you how to use this website step by step. So you can easily find the property or land ownership details.

Step 1: Visit the Official Bhu Bharati Website

You should go to  https://bhubharati.telangana.gov.in

You can see the Telangana government logo and options like “Know Land Status”, “Cadastral Map”, “Land Details”, etc.

Step 2: Click on “Know Your Land Status”

When you go to the homepage, click on the option “Know Your Land Status”

You can go to this site https://bhubharati.telangana.gov.in/knowLandStatus

This is the page where you can check your property ownership.

Step 3: Select Your District, Mandal, and Village

You can see the three dropdown boxes:

• District — Example: Ranga Reddy
• Mandal — Example: Shankarpally
• Village — Example: Mokila

You can choose the correct options where your property is located.

Step 4: Enter the Survey Number or Pattadar Passbook Number

You can enter the Survey Number (you can find this in your sale deed or registration paper)

or Pattadar Passbook Number if you have it.

Then click “Search.”

Step 5: View Property Ownership Details

You should wait for a few seconds, and the system will show:

• Owner name (Pattadar)
• Father’s / Husband’s name
• Survey number
• Land area (extent in acres/guntas)

• You can enter the document number, year, and the SRO office

How to Download Land Records (Pahani / ROR 1B)
